I have a Husqvarna FE 350 Motorcycle, and it was not meant for adventure riding and there was no way to attach panier side bags to it, so I had to find a bag system that worked with a bike that had very little to attach something to.  Enter the Mosko Moto Rackless 80L!

With the addition of a very small back rack to my motorcycle, this bag system fit and works great and holds most of my camping and other gear.

The only thing I did not like was the rear 22-liter side-open bag.  It was way to small and I wanted a top open zip closed bag. You can buy a much nicer 30 or 50-liter tail bag separately for an additional $200 to $250, but even the 50 liter was too small for what I needed.

So, I replaced the top bag with a North Face 95-liter bag that works great with the Mosko Moto Rackless 80L.

I carry a lot of stuff on my Motorcycle adventures, and 30 and 50 liter tail bags just don’t cut it.  So, I bought a 95-liter North Face duffel bag that works great with my Mosko Moto Rackless 90.  I never really fill it up, but there is lots of extra room for my jacket and other things I want to stow, and with the heavy-duty zipper, it allows easy access to all my gear.

I needed a safe and easy to access place to carry my DJI Mave 3 Cini Drone, controller and batteries.  The Mosko Moto Nomax Tank bag was the answer.  If you are not using it to carry a drone, controller and batteries, then it can fit many other smaller items as well as 2 liters of water.  It also converts into a small backpack!

HJC I-91 Helmet

When deciding on a helmet for my motovlogging channel, I needed it to be safe, warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and have great features.  This modular HJC I-91 helmet did the trick.  It has a flip up wind visor, flip up sunshade, and the jaw piece flips up as well making it a lot easier to eat/drink.  It's comfortable, has two venting systems, and is just damn cool.

Weston Heated Gloves

Earlier in the year, I went on a couple of rides in 14-degree weather where my hands were freezing.  I had to stop many times to get the circulation back into them. I bought heavy duty cloves, with little change, so a friend of mine told me to investigate heated gloves.  After a lot of research, I found these Weston Heated Gloves.

Wow, what a difference!  Even without the heat on, my hands were much warmer, and with the heat turned on, perfect comfort.  They are not protective motorcycle gloves with built in armor, so if you crash, they will not protect your hands from injury, but I would rather not have my hands get frostbite.  Maybe in the future they will make some good motorcycle gloves that are heated.

I needed a riding jacket that was tough, durable, and great for hot and cold weather.  The Sedici Matteo Jacket was the perfect match.  It has 2 inner zip out linings to make it wearable when it’s hot or cold, and plenty of zip open vents for when it’s hot.  It also has removable armor in the elbows and back.

Just a warning, I normally wear an extra-large jacket, and the first one I bought was extra-large, but it was way too small and would not fit over my body armor, so I returned it and got 3 times extra-large, and it fit perfectly.  So go two times your normal size if you plan on wearing it over body armor and remove the jacket armor.

I would be lying if I said I loved these pants.  I needed a rugged pair of cold weather riding pants that I could also use in the summer that had armor in the knees.  When I bought them in the store, the changing rooms were out of service, and I did not want to drop my pants to try them on, so I think I got a size too big for me as they are constantly slipping down on me.

Also, I have already lost 1 knee pad and had to replace it.  And I somehow managed to burn and tear a hole on the inside right bottom of the leg near the cuff, probably on the muffler or engine?  With all that said, they are warm in the winter, but I just don’t think they are designed or made well for the $450 I paid for them.

Call me crazy, but I do not like real motorcycle riding boots.  Why, because when you get off your motorcycle, you can't walk comfortably, and regular boots give you the ability to shift gears easier and point your toe to get extra footing in rough, hi-clearance situations.

Also, I don't have room on my bike to store a pair of hiking boots.  If I was racing, I would use my Alpine Star Tech 7 motorcycle boots. But for comfort and walkability, I use my less protective but extremely comfortable Sketcher boots.

With many things you buy online, you never know what you are going to get, and many times I have been disappointed.  The MSR Rover vest was NOT one of those things.

I needed a place to store water and my drone and camera supplies while I was walking/hiking to and from different places in the adventure videos I make.  This vest, for $160, was way better than I could have possibly imagined.  It can store 2 Liters of water with easy access. The MSR Rover Vest also holds my drone and controller and 4 batteries, my canon R5 camera and 24mm lens, keys, solar battery charger, tripod and more!   And it’s very comfortable and distributes the weight out evenly, unlike a backpack.

I highly recommend this vest.

With upper body protection, I wanted comfort.  I had been using a racing typpe of body armor and it was not very comfortable so I thought I would try the Proteus Armored Jacket.  So far, its very comforable and a lot less tight on me like the older armor.  It's also a lot easier to get on and off, with a single front zipper.
